The program is focused on increasing students’ knowledge of and experience with adapted and Paralympic sports. The objective of the program is to allow more students with interest in the field to increase their knowledge and graduate from the University of Alabama more prepared to work with para-athletes and in Paralympic sports. The field of adapted and Paralympic sports is growing, and opportunities to work for organizations in the United States that focus on para-athletes is increasing.
