The Value Investing Minor will provide undergraduate University of Alabama students with a broad-based theoretical and practical foundation in equity investing with a value perspective. This foundation will include learning fundamental principles of saving and investing, where to look for market inefficiency, how to research and analyze industries, business models and competitive environments, how to analyze financial statements and assess financial performance, and ultimately how to value what a business – and therefore its stock – is intrinsically worth.
